After several years’ experience working for other accounting firms, I decided to start my own boutique family firm with my wife Stacey Heiner. CS Accountants & Bookkeeping has been operating now since 2010. As the firms Principle I am able to use my love of numbers to help people gain control of their financial circumstances.  I believe that every client is unique, which provides me with the challenge of providing all forms of advice to assist my clients.

I hold a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and I am a Certified Practicing Accountant, being acknowledged by CPA as a full member since 2009. I have been a registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board since 2010.

Over the years I have acquired extensive knowledge of the taxation laws and I specialise in tax structures & compliance obligations for small to medium businesses. Currently we have a wide range of clients ranging from individuals, to large complex business structures and Self-Managed Superfunds (SMSF).

I am a degree qualified accountant with a bachelor of business majored in Accounting. My husband Craig Heiner and I started the Accounting firm CS Accountants & Bookkeeping back in 2010 so we have been operating together for 6 years now.

I believe we are a good team together as I provide clients with the bookkeeping systems and have the accounts prepared for my husband at year end so that he can then prepare the financials & tax returns for the client.

For  four years  I worked for firms in  public practice before starting our own Accounting Firm,  my role includes:- Preparing BAS & IAS for Individuals & entities, Providing general taxation advice to clients and preparing tax returns and financials for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies and some SMSF’s.

My past work experience also included working as an assistant accountant for a small property development company based in Brisbane in which I would help with the day to day data entry of the companies activities and year-end processes reporting to the financial controller

Finally my start to the commercial accounting industry was when I started working with an auto dealership company as an accounts clerk and personal assistant to the general manager.

With my vast range of experience and knowledge I have all the skills necessary to meet my clients needs and ensuring your books and ATO obligations are always met on time and the accounts are prepared effectively for your accountant for year-end tax.

I have 9 years’ experience in administration and office work, having started as a trainee in the year 2007. Since then I have attained a certificate 3 in Business Administration and completed some components of the Accounting Diploma. I moved on from a purely administrative role in 2008 into a dual role of both accounts and administration.

In this extended role, I was responsible for payroll, superannuation and contractual invoicing. I have continued gaining knowledge in both bookkeeping and accounting aspects of the industry and even had sometime within the client services team of the ATO. In 2014, I commenced my administrative role with CS Accountants. My role has been organically developed as the business grew, therefore my roles and responsibilities are constantly being updated. Currently, I assist Craig and Stacey with their work to provide efficient services and improve accuracy for our clients. Further to this, I handle most administrative tasks, file management and client correspondence. I, along with Craig and Stacey am committed to updating my knowledge of ATO requirements and relevant legislative changes to better assist our clients. Therefore, I consistently participate in research and liaise with financial regulation authorities to enhance my awareness and skills.

I am financial adviser with over 14 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Starting my career as an investment analyst I gained a solid understanding of investments markets and strategies. I quickly progressed to become the Technical Services Manager with a major financial services licensee. After deciding I would rather help clients directly, I started my career as a financial adviser in 2007, working for a number of financial advisory firms before deciding the start my own business in 2011.

I’m dedicated to listening to what my clients really want and need, planning strategies to suit their individual needs.  In addition to developing a custom financial strategy for each client, I conduct regular meetings with clients to review performance, reconfirm financial goals and make adjustments as economic or lifestyle conditions warrant.

Holding a commerce degree with majors in accounting and financial planning and a specialist SMSF accreditation. I am a well qualified, financial expert with the necessary experience to ensure the best financial outcome for you. I am committed to ongoing professional development and education to give you the most up to date technical knowledge and advice, specific to your needs.
